A day off at Mom and Al’s in Powell Butte, Oregon, very relaxing…. nice. We were up early, big surprise, and had coffee on the deck. This place is wonderful not just because of the relationship but the location is up on a hill overlooking a valley and the mountains. Unfortunately there is a fire near Sisters that is creating a lot of smoke in the valley obscuring the view. Went for a walk and found trasures, agates and Duane found an arrow head. Spent the day just catching up and hanging out. Duane went to some friends place for dinner and I made chicken divan wrapped in fillo pastry, very tasty for mom and Al.
